It has been quiet about Topic Maps for the last few years although the technology is alive and kicking. Lars Marius Garschol, co-founder of Ontopia and this year's speaker at the international Topic Maps conference TMRA from October 10 – 12, 2007 in Leipzig, talks about a bright future for integration technologies and the complementary nature between Topic Maps and the W3C Semantic Web.
